Birdman told XXL Mag that a collabo album Weezy & Drake would be done after they both drop their own albums Tha Carter IV August 29th & Take Care October 24th. He even commented on Jay-Z & Kanye Watch The Throne Album and says it has an older feel and that Wayne & Drake would have a more younger feel and a bigger impact is exact words were:"It’s older versus younger. I listened to a few songs [off Watch The Throne] and it feels like an older feel to me. I think with Drake and Wayne, they young. They young cats. You got 23 and 28. Then you got Jay-Z and them, who are older and really on their way out the game. Then you got Wayne and Drake and them, who are still youthful to the game. So, it’s two different types of music all the way across the board."
“But what they’re doing is great. I think it’s great for the game, great for the business, great for retail as a whole. I just think when Wayne and Drake get together is going to be something real special also because we more youthful."
My opinion would be that they want to make competition against Kanye & Jay-Z and the way Birdman speaks like saying that they are old and really out of their game is really disrespectful i like Young Money specially Drake & Weezy but don't talk about some veterans like that they each make different kind of hip hop and i really wish that Weezy & drake come with a new sound that'll change from what they are already doing now cuz they need a little more variety their music keeps on repeating all the time Jay & Kanye had some crazy beats on the album and they came with a concept i hope Weezy & Drake will come with an entire new sound to amaze everyone so we could be like ya they worked harder then the others I'm not hating it's just my opinion. I like all 4 of these rappers !!!! Enjoy both those songs Otis & She Will
